Self-Guided Tours Information Booth Volunteer
Event box
We are looking for enthusiastic and welcoming volunteers to serve as the first point of contact for students coming to campus for a self-guided tour. You will assist with questions related to their campus visit experience. Most questions will be related to way-finding and accessing campus resources (such as parking, campus card, textbooks etc.).
Traditionally, new students have been provided with a tour by either student staff volunteers. This year, we are piloting a self-guided tour where students can customize their tour experience and take as much, or as little time to explore our beautiful campus and all of its incredible resources and services. The self-guided tour includes a detailed directional map, guiding students across campus. At each point of interest, NSO has partnered with campus services to provide a brief but insightful description of the resources and support available to students. Through the self-guided tour, students will be directed to key locations such as the Campus Store, key buildings for their classes, services such as Wellness, Accessibility Services, and Student Learning Services. They can also explore Wyckham House, Recreation, and the Riddell Library and Learning Services.
